Following a public call for tenders, the Ville de Montréal has selected Nurun for the creation of its upcoming mobile applications. The mandate, which starts immediately and runs until 2020, is part of a global overhaul of the city’s digital presence. Nurun will actively work alongside Ville de Montréal to help simplify the daily lives of residents through an inclusive and intuitive experience.
A symbolic mandate
Securing this mandate has symbolic significance for the agency, born and raised in Montreal. In a year marked with the 375th anniversary of the city, Nurun will place citizens at the heart of its thought process to understand their expectations and prioritize their needs in order to deliver the best technological solution. Montrealers will thus directly benefit from efficient services and a simplified experience on their mobile device. In addition, this work will enable the city to position itself as an example of efficacy, intelligence, customer service and innovation while maintaining its rank as one of the top 7 smartest cities in the world.
“This mandate is an opportunity for Nurun to reinforce its place as leader of emerging technologies and mobility in Quebec. It will allow the city to benefit not only from our creative capabilities, but our mobile development expertise as well,” notes Christian Ayotte, Director General of Nurun Montreal.
