La Coop fédérée Agri-business Division has selected Nurun for its new digital mandate. The project, aimed at producers and retailers of the network, is the first step in a major program that will allow the organization to take a digital shift to better serve its customers and distributors. The first phase will be implemented in June 2017 for pilot cooperatives.
Digital transformation is at the heart of the Agri-business Division’s strategic activities. It aims to provide Canadian producers with innovative solutions that will optimize their investments and simplify the management of their farms. To achieve these objectives, the digital deployment will leverage connected objects and big data while offering a simple and intuitive online experience.
“We’re proud to work with the Nurun team for the implementation of this first mandate. Nurun is renowned for its reputation as a leader in the digital industry. Their know-how and extensive understanding of the B2B retail trade made them the clear choice for a business partnership,” says Saad Chafki, Vice-President, Technologies and Agricultural Projects for the Agri-business Division at La Coop fédérée.
Digital for even closer proximity
The mandate of Nurun is to accompany the Agri-business Division during the first phase of its online platform: a dynamic solution that will improve exchanges between producers and retailers of the organization. It will also benefit the sales force in the medium term by allowing representatives to establish a closer proximity with producers while facilitating communications.
“La Coop Fédérée is a key player in the agriculture, agri-food, and retail industries in Canada. We’re thrilled to be the strategic and technical partner that will accompany them in their digital transformation. Our experts in strategy, design, client services, and development of technical solutions will all contribute to this exciting new challenge,” says Christian Ayotte, Director General of Nurun Montreal.
Nurun is a global digital agency founded in Montreal in 1995. It is made up of 4,000 collaborators in 15 countries, with 240 in Canada and over 100 permanent employees in Montreal.
