ATLANTA, Oct. 12, 2009 – Nurun, a global interactive marketing agency, today announces its relationship with Camp Twin Lakes, a Georgia-based not-for-profit organization that offers year-round programs for children facing special challenges. Nurun provided creative, distribution, and online advertising strategy for Camp Twin Lakes’ Partners Card initiative, the organization’s largest annual fundraiser. 2009 marks the first year the Partners Card will be available for purchase online.

The Camp Twin Lakes Partners Cards can be purchased for $60 through participating retailers, volunteer card sellers, and at www.partnerscard.com. From Oct. 17-25, card purchasers may use the card at more than 550 participating retailers and restaurants and receive a 20 percent discount. One-hundred percent of the initial cost of the card goes directly toward Camp Twin Lakes.

The Partners Card Web site, provides an extensive list of all the retailers involved this year, as well as the free booklets shoppers will receive after their purchase of a card. As part of the online effort, Nurun’s creative team worked with Camp Twin Lakes to build customized landing pages and e-mail templates for Camp Twin Lakes’ target audiences during the fundraiser: past purchasers, volunteers, partner organizations, and stores and restaurants.

Nurun’s campaign management team ensured proper delivery of all of the landing pages and templates, and its media team utilized previously established relationships with media properties (Platform A and Thrillist) to secure value-added opportunities and programs.

“Nurun’s effort with Camp Twin Lakes was truly a collective one,” said Bill Lawrence, managing director and vice president, Nurun Atlanta. “Not only was our agency touched by the mission and purpose of Camp Twin Lakes, but we were extremely moved by the children whose lives are improved by their experience at camp. The support we provided Camp Twin Lakes was a way to be a direct part of their effort and make an immediate contribution. All of us who worked on this project enjoyed being a part of it and look forward to seeing the results.”

According to Eric Robbins, executive director of Camp Twin Lakes, the Partners Card is now in its 12th year. “And the program continues to grow,” added Robbins. “Thanks to our sponsors, as well as organizations such as Nurun, we can continue to help send children to Camp Twin Lakes. Last year, more than 3,100 cards were purchased, raising more than $250,000 for Camp Twin Lakes.

“As a result, more than 400 children had the opportunity to create new friendships and lifelong bonds,” he said.

Card purchases online are available through the last day of the event, Oct. 25.
